Pick up Killzone 2 early and prepare for battle. For the first 14 days of March, you have the chance to win a replica of the Helghast StA52 Assault Rifle. Each day we will be watching the leaderboards closely and the winner will be picked based on the criteria below.

The following promotion is intended for viewing in the 50 United States and D.C. only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States law. Do not proceed in this site if you are not a legal resident of, and located in, the 50 United States or D.C. at the time of entry.
MARCH FOR HELGHAN CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. Void outside the 50 United States and D.C. and where prohibited.
1. Eligibility. The March For Helghan Contest (the “Promotion”) is open to only legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, including District of Columbia, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and who have a PlayStation Network (“PSN”) account in good standing as determined by Sony Computer Entertainment America. Employees of Sponsor and their respective parents, subsidiaries, agencies, and affiliates and each of their related companies and their immediate families are not eligible. 2. Sponsor. Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (the “Sponsor”), 919 E. Hillsdale Blvd, Foster City, CA 94404. 3. Timing. The Promotion runs from March 1, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) to March 14, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. PST (“Promotional Period”).
4. How to Enter. Play the Killzone 2 video game during the Promotion Period.
5. Entry Conditions and Release. You can play as much as you like but you can only win once during the Promotion Period. Must have a PlayStation®3, the Killzone 2 video game, a PSN account and an internet connection in order to participate. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in the Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, cancel or suspend this Promotion should virus, bugs or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of this Promotion. If the Promotion is cancelled for any reason, winners will be selected from among all entries received prior to cancellation and all prizes will be awarded.
6. Winner Selection. One (1) winner shall be selected daily for fourteen (14) days based upon the following criteria of tracked statistics in the Killzone 2 leader boards:
Day 1: March 1, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Maximum number of Helghast killed by a single grenade during Day 1.
Day 2: March 2, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Total number of helmets popped during Day 2. “Helmets popped”is a statistic that is tracked in Killzone 2. It occurs when a bullet hits an enemy’s helmet causing it to “pop off” of their head.
Day 3: March 3, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Least amount of time taken to kill Radec during Day 3. The amount of time it takes to kill Radec, one of the bosses, is a tracked statistic.
Day 4: March 4, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Total amount of Boltgun Kills during Day 4. Each weapon has a tracked statistic of how many kills the player has performed with that weapon. Day 5: March 5, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Most Assassinations achieved during Day 5. Assassinations are kills made against the designated assassination target selected during the multiplayer game mode War Zone. Day 6: March 6, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Highest kill ratio during Day 6. The kill ratio is a tracked statistic defined as “Kills:deaths”. Day 7: March 7, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Most revives performed during Day 7. “Revives” is a tracked statistic. Day 8: March 8, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Highest “All Weapon Accuracy” during Day 8. This statistic tracks the cumulative accuracy for all the weapons combined.
Day 9: March 9, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Most ”Spawn Deploys” during Day 9. Spawn deploys are an ability that the Tactician class can perform in multiplayer. The tactician is a class that one may choose to play as during multiplayer games. The statistic will automatically be tracked once performed.
Day 10: March 10, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Best sniper accuracy during Day 10. Sniper accuracy is a tracked statistic that is based upon the accuracy performed by any player in any class firing a sniper weapon.
Day 11: March 11, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Highest killingspree during Day 11. “Killingspree is defined as multiple kills without dying. Killingspree is a tracked statistic.
Day 12: March 12, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Most headshots during Day 12. A headshot is a shot fired by any weapon that hits someone in the head. Day 13: March 13, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Most games lost During Day 13. The player who loses the most number of matches.
Day 14: March 14, 2009 from 12:00 a.m. PST to 11:59 p.m. PST. Most games played as ISA during Day 14. When starting up any multiplayer match, a player must choose to play as either a Helghast or ISA.
Each day at 11:59 p.m. PST during the Promotion Period, Sponsor shall review the Killzone.com leader board generated statistics and select the highest score based upon the respective day’s criteria and record the PSN identification number (“PSN ID”). On March 15, 2009 Sponsor shall cross-check the fourteen (14) PSN ID’s with the PSN database to determine the winner’s real names (the “Winners”) and send notification via email or telephone to the Winners. Upon Sponsor’s receipt of a signed affidavit of eligibility/release of liability (the “Affidavit”) Sponsor shall ship the Winner their prize. The Winners shall be announced on March, 20th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. PST.
7. Terms and Conditions. Potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Potential winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and receipt of the prizes are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The potential winners may be required to provide the Sponsor with documentation that shows he or she was an eligible participant. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the PlayStation® Network used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. 8. Prize and Release. Fourteen (14) entrants shall each win one (1) Killzone 2 STA52 Assault Rifle Replica with an approximate retail value (the “ARV”) of Six Hundred dollars ($600.00). Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value. Prize is non-transferable and no substitutions are allowed. Winner shall be notified by email and/or telephone. Once notified, allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of prize. Winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability/prize acceptance within seven (7) days of receipt or forfeit prize. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner shall be selected based upon the respective Day’s criteria. 9. Publicity. By acceptance of prize, winner agrees to the use of their name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. 10. Limitations of Liability. By acceptance of the prize, prize winner agrees that neither the Sponsor nor its affiliates, subsidiaries, division or related companies are responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that winners might incur as result of this Promotion or receipt of prize. winner agrees to release Sponsor and their respective parents, subsidiaries, agencies, divisions, and affiliates from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the Contest, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Contest-related activity and claims based on publicity rights, copyright/trademark infringement, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.
